In Argentina, guests may choose to ride horseback in the heart of the Andes Mountains guided by a local gaucho, learn the art of empanada-making, tour the city of Mendoza or enjoy a spa treatment and spend a relaxing interlude at the lodge. Leading the journey is an experienced Tour Director, who oversees the itinerary from start to finish. On the ground, the group divides into smaller parties, each led by a Tour Manager and assisted by resident guides, wildlife trackers and local experts. An onboard physician travels with the group to assist with any medical issues, while a dedicated Luggage Manager oversees the handling of guests’ luggage between every destination as part of A&K’s Travelling Bell Boy service. Finally, a professional photographer is always on hand to offer tips for capturing the perfect shot and record the journey as it happens.
