Be captivated by extraordinary game viewing and quintessential African landscapes on this safari through Tanzania. The parks in the north of the country boast open savannah, acacia trees and huge herds of game including one of the world’s great wildlife spectacles, the annual Wildebeest Migration. On this adventure, you stay at camps selected for their proximity to the wildlife.

A warm A&K welcome to northern Tanzania at Kilimanjaro Airport and a private transfer to your hotel, located amidst 18 acres of beautifully landscaped coffee and tea plantations.
Gran Meliá Arusha
This morning you are driven (approx. 2hrs) to Tarangire National Park, home to one of the country’s largest elephant populations. On arrival at the park entrance gate, you will commence a full day game drive with a picnic lunch before arriving at Sanctuary Swala late in the afternoon. Your camp is situated in a remote corner of the park amongst giant acacia trees with views out beyond the savannah. The landscape is filled with ancient baobab trees, ambling elephants, and birds in flight.

This park is famous for its large herds of elephants which migrate through the park in search of water between July and October. Breathtaking views of the Maasai Steppe and the mountains to the south make a stop at Tarangire a memorable experience. A full day allows time for plenty of game viewing.

Today travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation area, stopping for lunch at Gibb’s Farm, a working coffee plantation in the highlands, with time to stretch your legs. Later this afternoon, arrive in camp, located close by to the crater rim in the forest.

Descend into this vast extinct volcano whose towering walls are a natural enclosure for a dazzling abundance of wildlife. See wildebeest, zebra, buffalo and gazelle on the plains, waterbuck, bushbuck and eland in the forest, a healthy elephant population, black rhino, lion, hippo and flamingos.
Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp | Meals: BLD
This morning board your light aircraft flight into the world-famous Serengeti. Game viewing in the park varies depending on the time of year. Your classic tented safari camp is mobile and moves seasonally between two sites according to the movement of the game, ensuring you are always in the best spot to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration. During December – March stay in the Southern Serengeti which is in the ideal location for the Migration.

With an expert safari guide, explore the vast plains of the Serengeti in search of predators and other game for the next two days. The Serengeti plays host to a wonderful spectacle each year – the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra who follow the rains in their continual search for grass and water – an unforgettable experience.
