On arrival into the Bay of Islands Airport, meet your A&K driver and transfer by private vehicle to Eagles Nest, a world-class retreat with spectacular views of pristine waters and forested islets. The remainder of the day is yours to relax.

Start with a sky-high adventure as you soar over the dramatic and beautiful Hole in the Rock on a scenic helicopter flight. Experience the natural vista from the air and on foot, with the option to land on the island and stand in awe of the natural wonders, surrounded by steep cliffs over 150 metres high. Your helicopter tour will conclude at the award-winning Sage Restaurant at Paroa Bay winery for a three-course champagne lunch before being transferred back to your accommodation with the afternoon at leisure.

After breakfast transfer by limousine to the Russell ferry, continuing by water to Paihia.
It is here you’ll embark on your shared Bay of Islands sailing adventure, a peaceful way to explore this magnificent area. On board, lend a hand to hoist the sails or sit back and relax as the sails catch the breeze and you cruise across the waves past many of the 144 islands in the archipelago. Enjoy the spectacular scenery o and watch wild dolphins and seabirds in their ocean habitat. before your skipper picks the best of the islands to disembark and explore, with swimming, snorkelling and nature walks just some of the activities on offer. Enjoy a BBQ lunch back aboard your catamaran before sailing back to Paihia and returning to Russell by ferry. Please note: Your sailing adventure is subject to favourable sea and weather conditions.

Today is at leisure to enjoy the Bay of Islands region. You could head out on the water by kayak, settle in for a seafood feast at one of the many outstanding eateries, or embark on a bush walk or coastal stroll. History buffs might visit the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, the site of the signing of the country’s founding document.
With many galleries to discover and epicurean delights to be found, the day is sure to delight, however you choose to enjoy it.
