Embark by boat with a local expert guide to explore Nosy Tanikely Marine Reserve, known for its marine and land-based biodiversity. Don a mask and a snorkel to discover the underwater wonders that abound here, swimming amid the colourful swirl of aquatic life. If you prefer, simply bask on the sparkling white-sand beach. Later, stop by the island’s lighthouse, which dates to 1908, and observe the flying foxes that forage among the branches of the island’s numerous fruit trees, while also keeping watch for the common brown lemur.

Travel to the Lokobe Reserve, located in the southeastern part of the island of Nosy Be. View the endangered black lemurs who make their home in the reserve’s humid evergreen forests. Other species you may spy include the Madagascar pygmy kingfisher, the Madagascar long-eared owl, spectacular panther-chameleons, local endemic frogs and endemic boa constrictors. Then, cap off your Madagascan adventure with a private sunset cruise on a scenic ocean bay.
