When to Go

Peru has three distinct climatic regions: the coastal desert southwards from Lima, which experiences little rain; the hot and humid Amazon; and the high Altiplano that enjoys dry winters, but can be very cold in the evenings and mornings.

The best time to travel to Peru is between April and November when you can expect mostly bright and sunny days. The rainy season is between January to March.
