The highlands are at their best between June and September, during which you can expect clear days. The Galápagos Islands are most enjoyable from April to August – it won’t be too warm and there’ll be plenty of animals in their breeding seasons – while the Amazon’s weather doesn’t vary greatly, it’s particularly wet from April to July.
