Colombia’s proximity to the equator keeps temperatures stable throughout the year, around 24°C on the coast and 7-17°C further inland. Rainfall varies with the seasons.
In the Andean region, there are two dry and two wet seasons each year, the driest being between December and March, and July and August. In the south of the country, rainfall is more constant but showers never last long. The Amazon climate is wet year-round.
The busiest seasons to visit are December to February and over Easter.
