Comprising 115 islands, the Seychelles is a jewel-like cluster of coral atolls and islets scattered across the blue expanse of the Indian Ocean.
Each one of these seductive islands offers unspoilt beauty in a serene setting, whether on a flat coral castaway atoll or an island carpeted by rich vegetation and dominated by rugged granite mountains. Boasting some of the world’s finest beaches, the Seychelles coastline hides secret coves, swaying coconut palms, powdery white sand and crystal clear waters.
But beyond the beaches lies so much more with adventure activities aplenty: world-class diving, snorkeling, fishing, hiking, island-hopping, golf, spa retreats, zip lining, and horse riding. And after a day of activity, or just relaxing, a delicious Seychellois Creole candlelit dinner awaits beneath a blanket of stars. This is your perfect hideaway holiday.
An idyllic honeymoon destination or post-safari beach stay, the Seychelles is also a perfect place for a stand-alone multi-generational family holiday or a simple getaway. And thanks to Abercrombie & Kent’s decades of experience crafting tailor-made holidays and a well-established network of in-country partners, you’ll be guided to the best luxury hotels and resorts, in the best locations, with an abundance of activities to choose from and world class service whichever way you turn.

The islands of the Seychelles enjoy a year-round warm tropical climate, generally governed by two opposing trade winds. The south-easterly trades blow from May to September bringing drier and windier conditions, ideal for sailing. From October to March the gentler north-west trades provide calmer seas but a higher chance of refreshing showers. Scuba divers will find April, May, October and November have the warmest seas when visibility is often exceeds 30 metres.
