Ngorongoro Serena Safari clings to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest and most perfect caldera on Earth. Long and low, the lodge, which takes architectural inspiration from the nearby Cradle of Mankind, Olduvai Gorge, is built from local river stone and camouflaged by a cloak of wild vines. Designed to blend into the landscape, it is entirely invisible from the floor of the crater 600 meters below whilst simultaneously granting fabulous views of Mother Nature's biggest amphitheater; enormous picture windows frame a staggering panorama so that you can drink it in wherever you are in the lodge.
