Santorini’s magnificent caldera has to be one of the most symbolic vistas to typify the Greek Islands and Mystique’s serene terraces and sugar cube buildings have the best view of it all. The 36 suites and three villas are spacious, whitewashed and dripping in laid-back luxury. All the rooms are individually fabulous, but the Spiritual Suite comes with a Jacuzzi, exercise machines and spa bed for the utmost indulgence. We love the imaginative minibars.
The infinity-edge pool curves around the caldera view for Instagram-worthy shots and lounging poolside, taking in the views with a smoothie or cocktail from Aura, the pool bar. There’s a spa, valet and butler service, private dining and a gym, plus an elegant spa, Asia, with two treatment rooms. Charisma Restaurant has more of those insane views, plus refined Mediterranean cuisine. Asea Lounge is set on a minimalist terrace offering the freshest seafood, while the Captain’s House is laid-back affair for light lunches and cocktails.
