Dating to the 1870s, the former Wains Hotel has been transformed into this stylish landmark boutique property which houses 50 spacious rooms and suites. Elements of the early Scottish settlers abound with hints of tartan and rich fabrics and furnishings contrasting with contemporary design touches.
Fable Dunedin's restaurant and bar, The Press Club, is a bespoke establishment paying homage to the various media characters and prominent citizens who frequented the hotel 150 years ago. It is subtly sophisticated yet playful with shared plates of South Island produce a feature.
