Derived from the Sanskrit word for 'peace' and the Vietnamese word for 'place', Amanoi certainly lives up to its name. Here, Aman's signature contemporary style is interspersed with traditional Vietnamese architecture to create a serene luxury escape nestled amid the rolling hills of Nui Chua National Park with panoramic views of the sea and coastline below. The Central Pavilion, comparable to a traditional Vietnamese communal hall, is first to greet you on arrival with a large open terrace, restaurant, bar and stunning views across the East Sea.
The interior of each Pavilion is identical in layout with the four types distinguishable by their view and the presence of a pool; Pavilions and Pool Pavilions both look out to the surrounding mountains and woodland, but with the latter possessing its own private pool, while Ocean Pavilions and Ocean Pool Pavilions enjoy expansive views of the shoreline, again the latter with a private pool. Families and groups or, perhaps, those simply keen for a little more space will adore the Aman Villas; available as private havens, each with four or five free standing bedroom pavilions, separate pavilions for living and dining, and a large private pool with the added bonus of your very own live-in housekeeper and cook.
Set beside a lotus filled lake, the Aman Spa is a haven of tranquillity; facilities include five double treatment rooms, two hydrotherapy suites and a number of relaxation lounges. Treatments are inspired by the region and incorporate many local ingredients such as aromatic herbs, coffee and rice. There is also a fitness centre, Pilates studio, two outdoor tennis courts and a wide array of water sports at the Beach Club to keep you active.
